The South Central PA Adobe User Group Website uses CSS, AJAX, and HTML to provide a simple clean interface allowing users to quickly check meeting times, access discounts, and obtain contest details. Mangement of an Adobe User Group allows me to give back to my community by providing free training and a great networking opportunity for the SCPAUG members. It also allows me to keep my skills current and monitor industry trends and best practices.

The Jay Group Corporate Website uses ColdFusion, Flash, and CSS to provide information to clients, employees, and prospects. This site was a critical component of building brand recognition for The Jay Group by highlighting what the company does, how they do it, and providing other important company information. The website also provides a focal point for access to the client reporting portal and the employee intranet.

Techniques

A solid understanding of design principles, internet marketing techniques, and the Adobe CS3 Master Suite allow me to efficiently develop effective email marketing campaigns. An email marketing service, LisTrak, is used to help assure CAN-SPAN compliance, deliverability, and assist with results analysis.

Careful documentation of industry best practices, attention to emerging trends, and use of standards compliant software allows me to quickly and efficiently develop websites, email marketing, and related materials. The tight integration of Adobe's Creative Suite allows for an efficient workflow while maintaining standards compliance. Illustrator designs can be easily included into Photoshop layouts. Photoshop layouts can be quickly converted into HTML for email marketing or to be used within website development. HTML, CSS, and AJAX combine to create visually appealing and interactive websites. ColdFusion and PHP server languages may be added when dynamic database interaction with SQL or MySQL is required. To further enhance the user experience, Flex or Flash may also be used.
